We will create a class for your group (or co-op) or you can choose from an assortment of past classes or future ideas we haven't had the pleasure yet of doing. This can be individualized any way you want, whether it's a semester long class for your co-op, or a 4 week class in your living room (no co-op fees!). Anything goes. We have a long list of ideas we can't wait to try out.

STEM Challenges and Engineering Feats
- Each week, a new challenge to build, create, test. Drop an`d egg, build the tallest structure with only newspaper and duct tape, pasta bridges.....
Suppose the Wolf Were an Octopus?
- Creative and critical thinking/questioning using elementary literature.
Project-Based Learning (must be at least 8 weeks)
- Black Plague - It's 1347 and your small town has learned the plague is only a few miles away. How will you and your town work together to protect itself? Learn about this interesting time in history, while solving this complex problem.
- Ferret it Out- the Black-Footed Ferret has neared extinction. Create a plan to build it's populations and reintroduce it. A problem about endangered species and animal ecosystems.
Phantom Toll Booth
- Using the book as our spine, we will play with words, literary terms and writing while we follow Milo along in the book.
History of Time
- How has our understanding and marking of time changed over the last several thousands of years? Learn how, with hands-on activities.
History of Navigation
- How did people know where they were going and how to get there, before GPS? Make your own astrolabe, or clock your speed using knots. Fun ways to learning the history and the tools.
Around the World in 100 Years
- Through storytelling and activities, we learn about the explorers who expanded the world as well as the navigational tools they used.
